Create Personalized Letters
When you want to really connect with a client on an individual level, we recommend taking the time to create and send a personalized letter.
Newsletters and social media cast a broad net.
Sure, there are ways to make it seem like you’re talking to just one person on social, but nothing quite does that like a personal letter received in the mail.
Not only does it let your client know that you were thinking about them specifically, there’s something special about getting a personal letter these days.
It’s a piece of mail that stands out from the bills and mailers we’re so used to.
Letters are simple to incorporate into your marketing, especially when you create your own templates!
You can send out communication for specific events or times of the year, and just fill in the details as you go. That could look like a coverage review letter in the weeks leading up to the Annual Enrollment Period, a happy birthday card, a happy birthday letter, and a thank you note after a sale!
Remember when you’re writing these letters and cards, they’re about strengthening your relationship with current clients. Keep it friendly and try to avoid too much promotion in your correspondence.
Don’t be afraid to follow up, though!
Thank you notes are a great way to check in after the sale.
Use them to ask your client to refer you to their friends and family if they were happy with your service!
If you need a little help to get started on your own templates, that’s understandable!
