On November 8, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the Medicare Part A and Part B 2025 premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts!
You will notice that Part B premiums and deductibles are higher than last year due to projected price changes and assumed utilization increases that are consistent with historical experience.
Part B 2025 Costs
For 2025, the monthly Medicare Part B premium will be $185, an increase of $10.30 from $174.70 in 2024. The annual deductible for Medicare Part B beneficiaries will increase $17 from $240 in 2024 to $257 in 2025.

Part A 2025 Costs
Medicare Part A is premium-free for more than 99 percent of beneficiaries. Less than one percent of Medicare beneficiaries must pay the Part A premium because they do not have at least 40 quarters of Medicare-covered employment. Those who have paid Medicare taxes for less than 30 quarters will pay a Part A premium of $518 per month in 2025, which is a $13 from $505 per month in 2024. Beneficiaries who have paid Medicare taxes for at least 30 quarters or were married to someone with at least 30 quarters of coverage will pay a Part A premium of $285 per month in 2025, which is a $7 increase from 2024.
The Medicare Part A inpatient hospital deductible that beneficiaries will pay when admitted to the hospital for 2025 will be $1,676 , which is an increase of $44 from $1,632 in 2024.
